ABOUT

Founded in 2012 by a veteran team, Digit is an independent VC backed game developer headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. We’re building a new breed of online games, we call them ‘Seamlessly Cross-Platform’.

This new gaming technology allows players to play their game on any device, including iOS, Android, Browser and Social platforms (such as Facebook) and move between devices seamlessly. It also allows friends to play against each other even if they do not have the same type of device. Wherever you are, if you have a device (tablet, mobile or PC) with an internet connection, you can play.

Our first game is a hardcore social strategy MMO with unique and advanced gameplay mechanics called Kings of the Realm. Launching in 2013.

About Me:
Hello. I’ve been working in games for about 12 years now (oh god!!!!). I have worked for a huge number of different companies: Microsoft, Konami, Sega, Lionhead and most recently CCP Games. Jon

UI Designer

About Me:
I find that being a successful UI designer is a lot like being a successful ninja. My work should be, simple, elegant and largely invisible most of the time. I guess what I’m saying is that bad UI is like a fat, bloated ninja shambling towards its target while taking clumsy, uncoordinated swings with a poorly suited weapon. Everybody notices it, and it’s not cool.

I have worked as a web designer, an artist, and a game designer. This makes me an interesting mix of arty and mechanical, like some sort of paint-daubed automaton.

In the past I have purchased actual props from video games, despite the fact that that is not actually possible.

Favourite Computer Game:
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
